Director Biography

 

Georg Zeller was born in Stuttgart/Germany in 1973. After his studies at ZeLIG Filmschool inBolzano/Italy and at the Hochschule der Künste/Berlin, he works as a filmmaker and cameraman in Italy and Europe. He worked at ZeLIG as tutor and production coordinator for many years and has been teaching at Izmir University (Turkey), „Mov(i)e it!“ (Italy) and elsewhere.

Fatima Bianchi is a visual artist, and a director of documentary. She lives and works between Milan (Italy) and Marseille (France). Her artistic production is expressed through documentary and video installation.

Oleg Chorny born in 1963. Graduated from the film director’s department of the State Institute of Theatre and cinema in 1985. Shot a number of feature shorts, documentaries, ecological and promo films and musical video clips. His short feature movies and documentaries participated at the programs at the Ukrainian and international festivals.

During a few short months, the vast, bleak expanses of snow and depressing darkness make way for cheerful greenery and soft light: lots of soft light. 13, 14, 15 subtly copies the style of silent films from the earliest years of film history. Boys and girls acting silly, the axe cleaving through wood, driving wild horses. Simple and traditional, and close to Mother Nature: this is the pure life.

Claudius Beutler, born in Berlin 1986, studied documentary filmmaking at the University of Television and Film Munich.

Bei Wind und Wetter

Wally’s childhood is increasingly turned upside down by her mother’s alcohol addiction. She experiences the excesses and consequences of addiction first hand. Desperately, the eight-year-old tries to keep up normality in her own life and the life of her family by any means. A roller coaster ride between helplessness, excessive demands and desperation begins. It’s a daily struggle for survival.

Remo Scherrer is born in 1986 in Mutschellen, Switzerland. 2003-06 Apprenticeship as chef. 2009-13 Attends HLSU (Hochschule Luzern, Design & Kunst). 2013 BA in Animation from HSLU. MA in Film from HSLU.
